Recently, a new restaurant popped up in uptown that recently had a soft opening. Chris Pardo(designer of Arrive Hotel) designed this new restaurant and I had been waiting and waiting for them to open so Grant and I could check it out. We LOVE sushi and Grant loves whiskey so I knew it would be a match made it heaven for us. And yes it is!
We were first sitting at a table but then decided to sit at the bar instead. We knew one of the bartenders - Cameron. He served us a couple of delicious specialty cocktails. Their menu is like a fan with drinks on one side and food on the other.
Then we ordered food! Sushi, sushi, sushi! Everything was delicious. I think my favorite would have to be the venue roll. We get it with raw salmon instead of seared(I have a weird thing about salmon where I only eat it raw). My only complaint would be that I wish the appetizer was bigger! I wanted more!
I love this new swanky sushi bar! Glad to add a great new restaurant to the desert!
