Can’t believe it’s Coachella time already! I always forget how quickly the beginning of the year goes by! & this years coachella has been epic for me because we decided to go BOTH weekends! 

So here’s a little low down on how Weekend one went!

We had a great group of friends! Stayed at Holly and Casey’s house in LQ and our friend Bryan watched the pup at our place so that was nice! And we had a ride to and from the festival from Holly’s grandmother! Thanks grandma Betty! Although many of us had some different ideas on who we wanted to see each day, we mostly stuck together in small groups and had soooo much fun. 

My highlights would have to be SOULWAX! (Didn’t even know who they were, but wow), Kygo was awesome, and Vance Joy! That Aussie boy can sing! If you saw a girl with pink hair on a guys shoulder in the YouTube stream, that was Holly! 

I definitely should have worn my bandana more and definitely got the Coachella cough! My voice is still recovering! Probabaly didn’t help t...

If you didn't already know, Golden voice (the company behind Coachella Fest, Stagecoach, and Desert Trip) also have a summer festival called Splash House! It's twice a year, one weekend in June and one weekend in August!  

Previously, grant and I had attended but only spent maybe an hour day one at the pool. The reason for this.... I had been bit by about 50 red ants on one foot and it was super swollen. That day I found out I was allergic haha. I could barely walk and instead we spent the whole weekend in a hotel in Palm Springs(stay-cation) and watched hgtv and ordered delivery. HA! So unfortunately we didn't get to experience splash house how we wanted that year.

This year, grants best friend Bryan wanted to go for his 30th birthday! So we were able to buy last minute tickets off someone on Facebook and spent all day Saturday at the renaissance pool!

I don't even know where to begin on what a crazy fun weekend I had at Coachella! 

Some friends got a campsite last minute and we ended up pre-partying a little at the campsite and then having such a fun time at the festival! Some of my friends even snuck in Saturday!

Probably my highlight performances: the xx, Tory lane(just a great performer! And he crowd surfed! So cool), Galantis, and of course Marshmello! Literally don't even know the words to describe an insane crazy weekend. So here's some pictures and videos! I really didn't take enough photos! but I was totally consumed in enjoying myself at coachella.

Can't wait for Coachella 2018!

April is festival season here in the greater Palm Springs! It's crazy to think that one of the largest festivals in the world is in my hometown! 

Most years, I have only done #partychella. Gone to sponsored parties during the day. This year I'm doing parties weekend one, and the festival + a couple of parties weekend two! Very exciting! Especially because the boyfriend hasn't been to Coachella?!?!  How does one grow up here and not go? No idea! But so excited to pop his cherry ;)
